I'm looking at buying a used 230 mostly because that's what I can afford. I sold my SANTE 220 18 months ago with the intent of buying a 230 until the G23, G25 came out but I just can't afford that much boat right now.
Went to the Utah boat show yesterday (they didn't have a 230 there) and the national Nautique rep told nobody was ordering 230s anymore because everyone wants the G23 and G25. He also told me they could retrofit a 230 with the wakegate system as long as it has the linc system already.
I'd love the option of the wakegate system but no knowing how much it costs for the retrofit or knowing if it's even worthwhile I'm in a dilemma.
I'm worried about buying a 230 if nobody wants them for resale value. That being said, I didn't have any problems selling my 220 when they'd stopped making them.
Is the linc system worth holding out for when buying a 230? How can I tell a boat has the linc system buy just looking at it? When did linc come out and what does it do?
From my research, I can get a very nice 230 for the mid to upper $60k range right now.
