ball vavles and heater install

is it ok to install ball valves on heater hoses in line on a 2012 343. or is it going to crush my hoses if i turn them off. i just wanted to isolate the system in case i ever had too. almost done with my heater install in the new 210. i will post some pics when complete

That will be fine, I retro fit shut off valves into the heater lines on my last nautique so I could shut it down in case the core ever went and to prevent cycling water through the core in the summer.
