Another vote for the 450.. I'd go pocket door, too.

Another vote for the 450 even if only just for resale. On our lake they sell mid grade (89). Suspect the electronics just look for knock and adjust. If you put mid grade in you'll likely get some power above the 409. I went with the 550 and for my current boat which also has the LSA, I have 3 flo fast 15 gal jugs I haul to the dock in a wagon and a hand pump that I move from one jug to the next. Only takes 3-4 minutes to empty a jug and I'm able to get ethanol free "recreation" 93 octane fuel for a little over a buck a gallon less than on the water. It's a pain in the arsh but I think it's worth it. Occasionally I'll put a little gas in on the lake for convenience but if I bring the jugs each time I go out, I rarely have to do that.
Even with weedwackers, I always like to get the biggest possible motor......

Another vote for AT LEAST a 450. It is my understanding that the 450 only requires 91 not 93. Puls, there are 2 problems with the 409 1) You will have one heck of a time trying to sell it when you want a new boat. 2) You will want to sell quick when you realize that it takes an entire minute to get on plane.

Thanks for all the feedback on the 409. You talked me into the 450.
Another question...how are the factory tower speakers? Does two pair sound much better and/or louder than one pair? I'm now thinking I'll go with one pair to save some cash for the 450 and can easily add the second pair later if needed since it's pre-wired from the factory.

I went with one pair.. couldn't believe the price to add the second pair (turns out that those speakers are $1700/pr even aftermarket). I rarely get to crank the stereo anyway.
Lion90 put 4 wetsounds on for much less than the 4 factory would have been.. that may be a good way to go.

Very nice tower set up! Any issues with boards in the racks hitting the speakers when you swing the board rack in? I placed my G23 order yesterday and decided to skip the factory speakers and go aftermarket. I think I'm going to copy your setup. Thanks!

I hate to actually make a comment about carpet, but kind of wonder how many people are aware of fact that new carpet does not have that black foamy/water absorbing bottom anymore...I got this end of last season from nautique parts for a really great price and have "high hopes" that it won't get mildew smell as easily.
