    Ha.. you watched the rope knot video and saw this at the end as 'recommended' right? Me too.

    Somewhere around, I have the old 'interactive CD ROM' of wakeboard instruction.. almost everyone is wearing sandal bindings on unidirectional boards.. classic.

      Yep... How about Shapiro's board..... Uni directional.... man, that was awhile ago.... Now I feel old.....

        I've only wakeboarded a few years so I had never even seen boards like this! What they calssify as "big air" is pretty funny as well; just goes to show how far boats and boards have come.

            Remember, that was a direct drive with no ballast or tower. Some of those guys could go BIG on a pretty small wake. Find the Byerly documentary to get a really good idea - or any old video of Shapiro, Gator, etc...

            Start here.. look how small the wake is.

                    that is some great footage of those guys killin it on a small wake. it really shows the importance of fundamentals. they looked like they were going plenty big to me ...
