G is on order now the hard part !! Need some opinions on colors

Hey guys need some help on color choices. I know the orange is not for everyone but its definitely my choice of color now I just need some advice on the color combo. I will be selling the boat next spring so resale does weigh on my mind. All opinions will be appreciated !!

I like 2 but change the lower hull to white and maybe a whiet tower.

#1 w/Orange tower and white base/accents. I'm assuming the back 1/3 of the hull/gunwale is Gunmetal flake?

Agree orange tower would look good in any. Also agree with previous poster - #1 but change black to white. Lots of maintenance with #2 and just a little too dark for me.

Overall the orange really looks cool when done well. I don't have the balls to order it with orange though.

Keeping resale heavily in mind: 1, 3, 2.

I assume 1 is metal flake right? Seems to be hot right now. I see you have the team package on #1 but not the other 2. You aren't going to get your money back out of the team package IMO. Thousands of dollars for white accents, from a resale POV, makes no sense to me. If you're spending thousands of dollars on white accents because YOU want the look, then that's different. But if you aren't married to the thought, why spend the money on something that won't come back to you on resale? Just curious.

#2 will be a LOT of orange for some people. So would an orange tower.

Orange was my very, very close 2nd choice! I just ordered mine Friday.

              Congrats!!

Thanks for all the comments I will definitely take them all into consideration. I'm not sold on the team package, I actually like the all black better just thought it went with the boat more. I do agree its a waste of money !! Its hard to let the resale factor into the design for me personally because you always want to go with what you like. I currently have the number 2 paint scheme on my 230 and I hands down love it but its been for sale for a while now. I don't know if the color is too much for some or if the used market just is not that good right now. Its priced accordingly, clean, well maintained, and lower hours for the year. I do know a lot of the interest on my current boat comes from younger guys and when your dealing with items that cost what these boats cost unfortunately some of the younger guys are unable to come up with the funding. I'm not sure if these colors appeal to the middle age and older consumers so half of me thinks I should go with a more classy look (gunmetal flake or white) with the colored hull ( for resale) but the other half wants to go with what I like !! ( selfish I know) Dusty what color scheme did you go with ?

I would say #3 and then #1. Even though I love orange (had it on my 2003 SAN 226 and 2010 SAN 230), I think that there is a bit too much of it on #2.
I pick out basically the same colours for my new G23 but with more white, since I personally like more of a "pure" fan! Resale value in Switzerland is also a function of it...
At this stage of the buid up process it looks a bit poor in colours on the pics, but I am sure that it will look great with the graphics .
                  Cheers and congrats!

If I had these three boats to choose from in the used market, all other things being equal, I would choose #1. With that said, I would prefer a bit more color somewhere to break up the white/grays, maybe an orange tower. I vote 1, 3, 2.

I fit the mold when you describe a younger buyer that orange appeals to without funding, haha. 2 would be my pick for sure. That or something close will be my boat someday, not next year though. For resale I may stay away from so much orange.

Here's one with less orange a white hull. http://www.maccallumsboathouse.com/P...il.cfm?ID=1046

I think this boat was at the New England Boat Show in Boston last weekend and it looks amazing in person. I agree with others that too much orange might limit the amount of interest when you go to sell. I think 1 is my favorite of what you have put up.
