that's right, my boat is a marina queen! But to be fair, my boat rides next to 400ft oil tankers, 6ft swells and 50'+ yachts that will run you over...

allright I guess I'm gonna have to step up to the plate and do it!

I reused the stock aerator pumps for the bags in the back. They're pretty slow if you're fully filling or emptying the bags. I'd say at least 10 minutes for a complete fill. If my budget was bigger I would have gone for reversible impeller pumps. As it was I spent at least $800 on the project without new pumps in the stern. For the bow sac I integrated under the seats I added an impeller pump and tee'd it off the intake for the belly pump. I had to cut the cooler out of the starboard bow seat which is a trip.

This is where I'm at now.. I really don't want to cut the boat but that cooler is in such a bad spot

I wonder if it's possible to just stick the bag in there without cutting the cooler. I don't really care for the starboard side as everyone that I ride with is regular, no goofy riders!! Worst case you just offset the lack of bag with a guy or 3girls.
So I sent an email to wake makers, they replied right away, I will place the order today. I don't think I can avoid cutting the cooler though.. Oh well. Removing the tanks must have tripled storage space so it will be fine!

Removing the cooler is no fun at all from what I have read on here and from what my buddy that tackled it told me. If I remember correctly I think a rotozip is the best tool for the job. Wear protective clothing to help cut down on the fiberglass itch. It makes a huge improvement to the wakeboard wake but I am still experimenting with using it when surfing.

Luckily the 99s didn't have the cooler option so I was able to add this sack easily. But you might be able to get away with not removing your cooler if you only care about surfing on the port side. The first time I surfed with the bow bag I folded the starboard side under the port side and filled it up so that water was just on the port half of the boat. Does that make sense? I was able to fill it pretty full on that side and it never unraveled or anything. Based on that you should be able to fold starboard section that would go where the cooler is under the rest of the bag and be able to fill all of the open space.

Yeah cutting out the cooler sucked but worth it in the end. I used a Bosch oscillating multi-tool which was somewhat slower but controlled and accurate. Little risk of cutting through something inadvertently. Cutting out the injected foam sucks too!

^^ wonderful tools, I have a few FEIN (the original), love it . (I am a carpenter/GC so I got plenty of tools to tackle this project).

Good idea though, I think I will slap the bag in there and see how it reacts before cutting the cooler!!

Did you have to relocate the battery? Where to? I am going to add these bags to my 02 also this spring.

Next step is figuring out how to feed the sac in the bow. I was looking at ways to make it to the front (T ing from the existing belly hard tank). How did you guys manage??? Pictures would be amazing!! Thanks

yes I do agree that it sucks but it's a decent place to store a few gatorades ...anyways, still looking at ways to T off the existing line ..anyone?

I weight the bow with pop bags. http://pop-products.com/ or http://bombwake.com/index_files/ballast.htm

I can fit two bags in my cooler then I slide another underneath from the forward storage. I put two or three on each side then depending on what I'm running in the back I throw 2-3 more up under the nose seat. When empty I just leave two bags under each side cushion and move the others into the lockers.

do any of you guys have experience running this bag on top of your bow seats? im considering running this to avoid cutting out the cooler but am concerned it will damage the seats over time? would probably only need it half full since it claims to be 1000 pounds worth!

I'm running this exact bag , full. as far as the seats go, it's been ok so far (4 years) but it's such a PITA to fill/empty. Also it takes up so much space even when empty.

any one can help with the plumbing route? I want to put my order in!!!!

I first bought a T and screwed two aerator pumps into it because I read a thread on here...used that for a couple years but never loved set up. Seemed to me the pumps would fight for water. I then changed it up and just ran the overflow for hard belly tank to front bag. Screwed in a pump to empty bag, tied into empty power, and ran hose to what used to be cooler exit. That works fine.

There are posts on here or wakeworld where buys make elaborate manifolds. I am not good with that sort of stuff which is why I kept it simple. Mine works.

By the way, have friends who use the 1000 sac. Works fine if you run a lot of weight in back. You could also run horseshoe sac above the cushions or a 750. Having the sac below the cushions is nice IMO.

I was thinking the exact same thing last night, instead of going all out with the new jabsco and all that jazz, I think I am just going to use the overflow from the belly tank and use a pump to empty it. It will be a decent compromise I think.

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated
