    W721 center arrow locker sac

can anybody give me some advice about this bag and a newer 210 boat. cost is 390 with piggy back
-how much can you fill it
-is it easy to piggy back with the new kit
-does it drain all the way
-do you have to rip out your seat cushions to install it. (the front one)

i tried seaching for the thread were one was returned for another bag because it was better but could not find it.

    thank you

Can only fill it to about 300lbs of your lucky. You don't have to rip any seats out to install but it isn't the easiest either. You need to make sure its placed/unfolded correctly way up under the bow to get the most out of it which is the hardest part of the install. I'd say it does drain all the way but you need to be cautious and install some sort of anti vacuum device to make sure you don't collapse your hard tank when draining. Ask wake makers about that or do a search.
It would be nice if fly high could make a scaled down version of this bag for the 210 because this thing is way to big to fill to capacity. I bet it doesn't even fill to capacity in a 230.

What really is worth the money? If you want water ballast in the bow this is still prob the best way to go about it and will get you as much as possible.

Now if you don't want water ballast you can buy about 350lbs of lead maybe even 400lbs counting the hardware and such, for the same price as that bag.

@ Bigbucks, I think the 210 front tank was changed on the newer models and can no longer use the Arrow sack in the belly storage (maybe I'm thinking 230?) Anyway, Nordic is right the Arrow sack is big, and is rated to hold ~650# full, which in the 210 there's no way it will get close to full, maybe half because of the volume available in the 210 is MUCH smaller than in the 230. In my 230 that Arrow is full, to the point of bulging.

In the 210 if you want extra belly/nose weight, you will probably be better using a tub sack, and the under seat sack in combination (if you don't mind losing under seat storage).

I chose the center arrow sac and not the the under seat bow sac because I use the under seat storage more than the ski locker and I had read that the boat handling was better with the arrow sac. I knew the sac wouldn't fill to the rated capacity due to the confined space, but I do have some pop products I use as well. As stated above the install, both in getting it in and laid out flat so it fills well, and the hose routing to the overflow thru hull takes some effort, but I am happy with it.

As far as your other questions, i did the math a while back as i was really convinced it wouldnt even get 650 if it was unconfined and i think i came up with betweeen 300 and 360 in place under the newer 210 deck, but there is the curve of the hull to take into account making the sac about 10" thick under the walk thru and 4" thick on the arrow tips, so its not a simple volume calc, but it can be done. And as stated above the seats stay in place, but if youre referring to the under seat one, i read when full the seats want to pop up. I doubt it drains empty but the water left in is negligible in my opinion. The install is easy and wake makers will set you up. I sent them my calcs, too.

The arrow sac is no good in a newer 210. The under-seat sac is much better. I tried and tried to get the arrow sac to work in my 2012 210, but it would barely fill at all. I sent it back.

I used the forward sac vent, but the side and the nose arrow tips can't fill more than 4" due to the confined space. When I open the locker the sac is quite full along the centerline of the hull. I keep 4 of the CG pfd's (Wally style) under the bow seats so we are always legal, plus an anchor, anchor buddy, some anchor rode and shore tie with sand spike under the seats along with 4 pop bags and like the set up.

I agree you have to use the forward vent, no other option. To put mine in a fished a rope from the front drain and assembled the bag and hose and used the rope to pull the bag into place. Then reach in as far as possible to try and unfold the bag as best as possible while filling.

I too keep 100lbs of lead in the nose and would hate to loose the under seat storage.

I think I am going to piggyback in few year old center locker sack with the 1/4 bypass tube..Probably won't get much less then arrow sack for a lot less cost. See what happens.
