Brings back memories. I did a 94 PS 205. I think the project changed my perspective on boating. I never took it for granted, but after doing that year long project I had a new appreciation for ownership.
Hats off for the effort, looking forward to seeing your results-

    Montreal...so you have some time.

Thank you sir, it sure does feel great working on the boat and seeing it coming together.... Let's just say it is not even 6am on Saturday morning and I'm having a bowl of cereal then it's off to the man cave!!! We hooked up the sound system yesterday and I am super pleased with the quality and also it is pretty loud if you ask me. I am so glad I did not change my tower speakers, turns out they weren't hooked up to an amp, they went directly into the radio.. All in all, long day ahead and the girlfriend is about to report me missing...!

How do the xs650's go compared to what you had? Noticeable difference? I'm trying to decide wether they are worth the money, currently tossing up between these and the polks for my 02.

Would love to see some pictures of how you mounted them up??

        Keep us posted

Hours and hours, I had to wait until august to get mine on the water from the previous year. Many LONG weekends all winter all through summer. You will have nice set-up worth what you have in it +.
Wetsounds IS the standard...for tower speakers, well engineered. Curious what you feel the cabin speakers sound like.

xs650 do sound much better and especially much much louder than the OEM speakers. Is it because the the syn6 ? Probably has something to do with it. I was just tired of looking at that freaking mesh cover, couldn't stand it anymore.
I have yet to reinstall the upholstery so I don't know how I am going to mounth the speakers. judging from my test fit, they will probably do over the vinyl so I am just going to use long SS screws, there is plenty of solid material behind.
I also installed LED lighting under the gunnels , looks pretty cool for late night hanging out..
I am uploading the pictures onto photobucket, stay tuned!

              oh wires

              hang 'em high

              testing the LEDs

              and there shall be LEDs

              more LEDs

              custom brackets, lol

when putting the pannel back, there's a bolt that goes in front of the cupholder..it's a PITA to reach and hold the washer so I added a piece of double sided carpet tape. magic.

pannel installed, now rattle free!! the radio just laying there before fixing it properly. Also, I need to put the stickers back ,don't mind the trashy texture!

Super easy to work with. I will post detailed pictures of the strips, how I tie wrapped them (lol) and the module. It works with a remote, 19colors I think.. Strobe, flash etc.. I will post the brand I will ask my buddy he had two strips (15ft each) laying. The remote is awesome. Thanks for the comments guys

That is really coming out great! I'm very interested to hear more about which LED strips you used because those look great and that is definitely on my upgrade list.

Just got my wake makers tankbuster kit. Looks awesome, one thing I'm not sure is how to connect the empty pump to the quick connect fitting. I had some 1'' clear hose laying around so I headed it and got it to fit over the connector and over the threaded fittings that screws into the pump.. I will try to find something a little sturdier. The 750bag is huuuuuge. Pics to come later

not that anyone cares but here's what's up !

package from www.wakemakers.com . seems like high quality stuff!

small glitch. I know my 02 has a mix of 02/03 interior or something so I was ready for something to happen. There's nothing supplied with the kit to make the connection from the existing empy pump to the quick connector . The handyman fuse kicked in and I figured I would use some 1 ID / 1 1/4" outter dia. clear tubing that I was keeping on board (to stick in the fuel vent while surfing, another story). the OD of the quick connector / threaded piece sticking out of the pump is around 1 1/4" so its was a snugg fit . I used the torch (and a pair of pliers!!!) to heat up the 1" long tube. went on like a charm, cooled down and was pretty much stuck there. For good overkill measure (not pictured) I decided to seal the end with 2 component marine epoxy and add some plumbing collar. taped everything off so it wouldn't tear the bag

                              sac installed , love it!

so I needed to relocate my 2nd battery (group 24). I used to sit on top of the hard tanks. Hard tanks are obviously gone so I had to improvise. I decided to cut some plastic piece (absolutely love that stuff) so that the storage floor would be even with the carpet (fuel line cover).

predrilled and put a few SS screws

                              installed!

the bow all dressed up (minus cupholder rings) and nowhere to go

made the sub fit in the old pannel

had to trim the carpet, it was a tight fit but it works

gotta love those **** studs/bolts attached to the upholstery pannels. I did tighten all of them prior to putting it but of course, the last bolt in the worst possible spot decided to get loose again.

                              so you IMPROVISE!

custom tooling (underneath the glovebox/sub location)

                              that's how I roll

fuse /heat pannel reinstalled, here you can see the white box for the LEDs.

that's it so far, more work to be done this long weekend!

                              thanks for reading

Great work man, looks good. So you ended up just using the plastic to "add" floor space and crammed the second battery up against your other?
