between inflation and them holding their value, not sure they will ever get that low. 20 year old boats are still selling for more than half their original value. Those would probably bottom out in the 60-80 range...

I'm with Ski Tower. They will hold their value for a long time. I would hope anyone spending 150k on a board boat would extend great maintinance and care for that large of an investment so it is very unlikely that you will see a ragged G series boat.

Heck, My dad just sold his 92 prosport 205 for 12,500 that we paid 13,000 for 8 years ago this would have been its 9th season in service for our family. It had 670 hours on it.

Thankfully he will be putting some sort of Nautique on the lift this season .

I think 10 years is probably about right...

Look at what 2003 210s are selling for today? 35K in great condition? That's a 10 year old boat that originally costs 45-50. It will be a lot longer than 10 years for a G25 to get down to 50K unless it's trashed.

yeah, guess i will keep dreaming for the next decade. truthfully i bet the wake is too big, but it is on my lotto list!!!

I love the story about the prostar, its funny how it works, my mom bought a 92 205 when i was in high school for 4000 bucks (she wasn't exactly a beauty but she had a pcm!) and we ran it into the ground for 4 years and sold it for 3500 8 years ago and i just saw it on craigslist for 4500 the other day!!!

Its amazing how big name boats hold their value for so long. I mean IMHO the boats MC was putting out back when my dads boat was built were much higher quality than what they are today. First interior stitch repair we had to do on it was this year on a 21 year old interior? I think thats pretty good useful life. Dad babied the thing for the last 8 years and racked up about 260 hours.

The early 210 is the hottest boat on the market right now. Holding value well and performing the way people want them to. We could sell 20 of those a year if we could get our hands on them.

Pretty cool 20+ year old boats are still commanding good cash. That says alot about CC 210 hull design still out on the market holding their own with new hulls.
