Swivel seat in a 1998 air nautique?

I am wondering if anybody has ever put in a swivel seat in a Sport/Air Nautique? If so what did you use and was it a tough project? I just got my Air last fall and thought it would be cool to have a swivel seat for EZ access? Any help would be great!

I have thought about this quite a bit and would love to add it to my boat but it looks like the main issue is that the seat is currently too close to the gunwale to rotate. you could get creative and probably make it work but it looks like those who have tried have ended up switching it back. If you were willing to give up the ability to slide the seat fore and aft, then you might be able to mount the slides so that it moved starboard to port and then you could slide it starboard and then rotate. Good luck and please post up a how to if you get this to work.

Nice Boat, my 99' was the exact same colors!

Wondering if you even have the room to swivel the seat around?? Then what mods need to be done so seat does not end up too high as a swivel mount is going to raise it. Do you have a jump seat? If not you may want one however it could also interfere with the swivel.

First thing I would do is unbolt the seat and see if it can even spin without interference with the pylon, helm, gunnel and controls.
