    NSS on 2012 210

i understand how the system works but my question is will additional ballast over stock be needed for a great surf wake on the 210 and 230 boats. how has it been tested? i am on the fence about ordering piggyback 750's for both sides if i will adding the NSS in a couple months when it is available.

I was told by my dealer that they do need extra weight above factory and they recommended 400's in each side after visiting the factory. They said that is was Nautique recommended to them. How true that is...who knows. I am considering adding 750s instead of the 400s. Do 750s fit? I just ordered my first Nautique so I am unsure but keep hearing about people putting 750s in there so I am assuming they fit.

Yes, 750 fit in the rear locker, above the tanks. I don't think they actually fill to the max, before they overflow (mine our plumbed in with the hard tanks) but you def get more than 400 in them. This is on a 2010 210 SANTE - I assume the locker size is the same for 2012 models, not sure though.

It would be a waste of money not to order 750's regardless of NSS or not! If you put in 400's you'd be selling those in a year to replace with 750s! I know!

Was talking to my dealer last week and he said the 210 hull benefits the most from NSS. He told me what the NSS does for the 210 surf wake is amazing really stretches out the pocket I guess.

Thanks ES, I think I will do that.

Nordicron, I hope that is the case with our 2013 on order. So stoked.

Good for you. I am still waiting (and hoping) they will retrofit NSS for older models (e.g. 2010). Since there is a USB port next to the driver, I assume they could also upgrade the Linc system to accommodate the new technology. If not, I will need to look at a G21 in a few years time....such tough problems in life ;-)

off to wakemakers then for some 750's and bow weight. then maybe a NSS when they are out. i hope kits with templetes are available for NSS so these can be put on at home by those who choose to.

So will any additional bow weight be necessary? I heard that before NSS the bow weight lengthened the pocket but I have heard NSS (and surfgate for that matter) also lengthen the pocket.

I run 750 piggy back on top of my factory tanks, you will want the 750 cause if your short crew you can add more water. If you don't need it press the button to take some out. I'm also hoping that they can put NSS on my 2010 210 as I'm really looking for more length in my surf wave.

Sac, the avatar photo looks like a nice wave. Do you have any video of your 210 wave?
