A friend of mine has a 1977 Mustang that he just repowered this past year. The boat runs very well and he is intersted in getting it setup for wakeboarding. He knows that he needs a tower, sacs., and needs to get the interior reworked. His college age kids will be at home all summer and want to use the boat frequently. What I am asking for is suggestions for best tower for the money(I was thinking Monster), best way to setup ballast(I have a SAN and don't know much about weighting a closed bow), and best way to get the interior looking presentable. Upgrading to a new boat is not an option, they are the origional owners, and have sentimental value. He does not want to spend lots of time on this project and just wants to get it running for the summer. Let me know what your guys think.

Alan,
IMO, Monster is the best reasonable cost tower I've seen. Folks also
say they are very easy to install.
Hey, just a thought - I'm sure you'll get some great responses here. However, you might also want to post over on the correctcraftfan.com site.
A lot of guys over there have older nautiques (including Mustangs,
Barracudas, American Skiers, etc.) and so you might get
a lot of first hand experience in terms of where to place the
weight, etc.
Have your buddy send some pics when he gets it set up.
