What is the lead time on registration numbers? Trying to decide to go this route over domed numbers and save $40 but I couldn't find how long you need to get them done anywhere.

Site seems fine to me. I am receiving orders, and I just got in with no issues.

I normally get these out the following day. Also, I now have navy blue vinyl, so if anyone is interested in that, I can make any of these decals in that color too. I'll add it as an official option on the site soon.

I think the standard, current Nautique font would look good. I can also use any other font you like. I do not have the Nautique font from that period though, since it was a custom font that is not in the public domain.

for anyone considering these, they are good quality and look very nice. i would recommend ordering only the the 2 inch version though. the 3 inch tall that i ordered is over 4 feet long! i'll throw them on to see what they look like but will probably end up reordering the 2 inch version. 4 feet of registration numbers will look a bit silly on my 210 i suspect.

Jeff, If you haven't made mine yet can you change them to 2" version? IL 1287 . . . What size is on you G in the picture at the beginning?

When this post for the reg numbers first popped up I was going to add a comment...but to embarrassed. Now I think it is germane. TX (and most states) require 3" tall letters. I ordered some die cut e-z install numbers from X (I can't remember the name but the ones that send out the thick catalog). The form had height and overall length. I didn't really have any limitations so I didn't specify. The sticker came in close to 10 characters with spaces x 3" tall numbers = 30" long and looked like crap. Because the stickers were late, I already bought a kit at academy marine section. The letters were 3" tall but the width of maybe a 2" letter. After my trip I pulled the stickers off because we are on a private lake. I wouldda just used the ugly ones but they were late.

I talked to a local decal shop about getting them made and they told me I need to give them the overall dimensions including the length and they can make it look right.

yeah. my state requires them to be 3" tall with no restrictions on length. looking at my numbers, Jeff must have the 2" on his G and it looks great IMO, proportional for that size of boat. i assume ordering the 2" would scale the entire size down, but i will let Jeff clarify. i'm not complaining at all so please don't take it wrong. Jeff was even nice enough to order a different color to match my boat. it's 100% my fault for not considering the total length. i will take a look when i get her out of storage.

Sure. Any of you who ordered the 3" and found them to be bigger than you expected, just shoot payments@planetnautique.com $5 through PayPal and I'll reprint them in the 2" size.

And yes, the ones on the PN G23 are the 2" size. I offer the 3" because some states require that size, but they do get a bit long when you scale the font that large.

Jeff, I know this maybe a stupid question but does the $20 cover 2 sets of registration or just one side? Thanks for hosting this site! I used to frequent the2001.com and we all know what spam did to it. Great work here
