Welp guess i should of researched a little more.... My state requires 3 inch so thats what i ordered in the current Nautique font. The total length is over 6 FEET! Each letter/number are 3x8in. Live and learn i guess..

I ordered Nautique font registration numbers in 2 inch size eventhough the state of Virginia requires 3 inch from Planet Nautique after reading about the 3 inch size being extremely long. The 2 inch font size are still very long.

The 3" numbers are very long. That's why I list the lengths for those numbers right on the order page and include a special note about the length of the 3" numbers.

Do there HAVE to be gaps between the state letters and the numbers and between the numbers and the final letters?

According to the laws of most states, either spaces or dashes are required. If I receive a special request to leave those out, I can certainly do it.

Got it. I'm not sure what if Ohio requires a space or dash. Based on what I have read, I think I will stick with the 2" set. I see you have the 2.5" now though, how long are those?

GemCitySurf It depends on the specific letters and numbers, but the 2.5" height can run up to 63" long. If you can tell me your specific numbers, I can give you an exact measurement for all sizes.

Jeff, can you get me total dimensions on 3" lettering with the older font (1996)? Michigan requires spaces so I have put those in here for you: "MC 3150 UA"

Here is a 230 with 2" stickers. I kept the 6" between the Ohio sticker and the start of the letters per the requirement still. Puts the letters pretty close to the front. Side note, the yellow sticker on the port side is for Indiana DNR.
