i have an 07 GC and tow everything up to and including a 230 with it, no worries at all. Some of them have self leveling susp if you look hard enough. I have the V6 diesel but have had an 05 5.7L and it was fine too, just a bit hungry.

I'm in a similar situation. I tow a 2006 226 (roughly 5,000 lbs w/ trailer) with a 02' Chevy Trailblazer v6 2wd. I'm really impressed how well it tows around town. It doesn't appreciate road trips, but it does get the job done. Granted I live in Florida, so not many if any hills. I am going to upgrade to v8 truck b/c it does put a LOT of strain on the little Trailblazer if I tow anywhere of far distance.

It seems like it should be fine. I'm going to be in the market for a new tow vehicle and the '14 GC is on my list. I don't want to spend big $$. I currently have a Navigator and while I love the truck, I would like to downsize a little. I pull the '11 SANTE 210 twice a year...from the dealer to the lake and then back to the dealer in the fall. I think the GC will do fine. The Dodge Durango is also on my short list. Never owned a Chrysler product so I'm a little nervous to pull the trigger. I figure with Ford, it's a F150 or Expedition. Nothing else has the towing capacity. With GM, it's pickups or the suburban/yukon. Don't want an import. Any other ideas??

I currently tow my 2010 210 with a 2002 JGC Laredo 5.7 V8 with towing package. I don't tow often, but it wasn't a problem.

Another option is checking with your dealer to see if they would transport your boat to and from the lake for you twice a year for a small fee. Most dealers are more than willing to do this if you are not too far away.Shawn
