G23: Extra ballast with NSS

Does the G23 need ballast above stock for surfing? Wasn't the NSS supposed to minimize need for weight changes and extra ballast?

My 2249 did not come in this weekend. So the comparison will have to wait. The G23 does NOT need additional weight above stock ballast for decent surfing.

Ryan - is that with or without NSS? My boat came in right before NSS was available so it's without.. but I surfed the demo boat without NSS and it was still pretty **** good.

That one pic i posted at 9:12 is a G23 on stock ballast only with NSS. light boat otherwise, 1/8 tank fuel, 3 men.

Those other 3 pics I posted at 9:15 are from what I was able to do with the Malibu 247. Wasnt able to do a whole lot of surf sac and testing... was pretty much in family mode all weekend for the short times I was able to get out on the water.

2249 arrived. got the 2313 off with 1 light tap of the hammer. its 30 degrees and Im sitting here trying to work a scheme to get out on the water today to demo fully slammed with the twin 1100s in the trunks.

2013 G23 stock ballast no NSS... I liked my 210 surf wake WAY better. hopefully the NSS fixes that.
