Shadow Casters actually in the water.

Mark took the cush 2013 210 TE with NSS down to Cumberland for the weekend. Just shot me this pictures about 7 am and WOW. I haven't actually seen SCM-10's in the water other than in website pictures. These really show off how bright they are. The boat is tied up to a houseboat.

Thanks dudes. Those are SCM-10s in white. You'd have to do some measuring on the back of that early 210 because those 10s are WIDE. They are $678.00 Per side. If the 10's don't fit even the SCM 4 has the same output as the factory Attwood 6s. When you step down to the 6 or the 4's they go down roughly $100.00 bucks per step down.

They are a premium product with a premium price . Look at the other premium under waters though and they are sometimes cheaper. Ocean LED I think are actually more for their 12 led under water fixture. Their 12 light outputs 1300 Lumens. Our SCM-10s output 2500 Lumens

SCs are super bright but pricey at .28cents per lumen (approx 2100ea). Quality underwater LEDs can be has as low as .14 cents per lumen.

Is there another company that you could recommend for quality underwater LEDs? Zack are all G 23's prewired for underwater LEDs and it's as simple as installing them?

Look at Hurley underwater Puck LEDs. 175$ea for 1200 lumen. I put 2 on mine.... As a reference, the OEM LEDs are in the 600-800 lumens range ea x2. So roughly 2x bright as OEM for only $350. I have some pics of only 1 installed as a drain plug light on my last boat and it was impressive.

But SCa are the way to go if you want 5000 lumens with only drilling 2 thru hulls. Hurleys would take 4 to match 2 SCs.

Yes, the G23s are prewired, but you will likely need a quick software update because the option likely isn't on your Link 2 unless your boat came with the LEDs.

check out coastalnightlights.com . they are unbelievable bright. a guy on "the hull truth" forum builds and sells them. youcan research them there. i think they are as bright as the shadowcasters at a 1/4th the price.the housing is polymer if that is important.

The coastal look cheap. Any expirence with them? Are they really as bright and how well do they mount up. Looks like cheap ABS plastic. Probably one of those get what you pay for deals!!

One Hurley Puck LED, 175$. This one is at a disadvantage here.... its in the drain plug config thru the bottom drain plug.... so that's mounted real low, almost 2ft below the water line, with the wedge in front of it to boot. Also, that's murky water.... Not terrible...but certainly not clear water, especially with all the kids there jumping around. When it warms up some I"ll have the G23 out at night and we"ll see what 2 look like. I can attest the green light attracts tons of fish.... they come up to the green light and stay there like zombies and the kids can grab them with their hands... they all go crazy.
