Custom Cover that would go over tower. Where to find?

I am building a house on the lake and want to have a boat lift installed. My thought is to leave the boat on the lift through the summer months, however, I can not stand the thought of my boat being exposed to the weather and sun. I have an 03 SAN and would like to get a custom cover that does not wrap around the tower but goes over the top of the tower and covers the rest of the boat. I would also like to have "flaps sown on the cover that would protect the sides of the boat from sun damage. My lake will not allow covered boat slips so a custom boat cover is my only option. I have seen the "tower socks" but I feel like one large cover that goes over everything would be easier to put on and off and would provide better protection. Anyone know where you can have such a cover made and have any idea on what it would cost? Also, does this sound like a good idea for protecting the boat? Thanks

Any canvas shop can make you one. I bet it will cost you
    600-800 bucks.

Personally, I don't care for these types of covers because they
are too heavy, too bulky, and kind of a pain to put on (IMO).
However, some folks love them. On the other hand, I'm not
a big fan of bird crap etc. on the tower and speakers. If you
can't have a canopy, this may be the right solution.

See the following thread posted by mojorisr for a picture of one such cover

If it's close to what you want, you could print out a copy
and take it to your canvas guy.

Sounds like a local canvas shop is your best bet. Then they can pull measurements off your boat. Otherwise, check w/ your dealer (but don't buy the Ameritek(sp?) thru Cc, WAY too much moola!

bk, looks more like a camper than a boat. Guess the birds can't tell the difference.

I agree. That's why I went with the canvas awning on my slip.

I've seen some of these that are better form fitting. They look better,
but seem to puddle in the rain. I think if I were forced into this solution
I'd go for separate covers for the boat and the tower. A lot of guys
use the tower only covers when they tow to keep bugs off tower
lights speakers. I don't tow that often, but when I do, it takes
a long time to clean up the road kill.

I have had 2 custom cover made to go over my tower on 2 of my previous Wakesetters befor I had agarage built that would fit my garage. The covers that I made were great they were just like a tent, had a zipper in the side so you could enter and exit with the cover in place (works great when you get caught in rain storms). The cover will take you a little bit to get used to putting them on the boat.

I would go for BKH's suggestion of having separate covers, one for the boat and one for the tower. To prevent water from coming into the boat, put the boat cover first and follow with the one for the tower.

Another solution would be to have a single cover that covers the horizontal part of the boat but that extends up vertically to cover the tower and the area underneath the tower. Imagine a glove that you can put on but only has one finger (the tower), the other fingers would be bent towards the palm of your hand (the boat). It would be harder to put on and remove but it would look much better than the cover on the picture.

If you go for this option, make sure that the cover has enough of an angle towards the bow and stern for there not to be any puddles.
