Nice work cleaning it up!
Id be a little concerned about using paint, (I'm not sure of a good alternative though) Its going to be hard to touch up if you need to after the seadek is down.
Again, nice work, and im sure it will look awesome when its done!http://www.ridebutter.com

Sorry there hasn't been an update in a while I am waiting on seadek pricing before I decide what the next step is. Either going to be Bondo and then seadek in the indents, OR kitty hair and resin to FILL the indents (and create a smooth surface) to put down a custom one-piece seadek with the nautique logo etched into the middle of it.

Almost finished with the platform. I will post a set of pics within the next week. I added 2 layers of fiberglass, sanded it down to flat (there is no ridges for the SANO anymore), and am about to prime it, paint it black, and add the SEADEK. The SEADEK piece is pretty cool in that it was custom ordered as a one piece setup with the NAUTIQUE lettering cut into it. It's gonna be a sweet looking platform can't wait to finish it

So after what felt like years of waiting...Seadek FINALY shipped my platform pad and I put it on. I have used it for one weekend now (~10-11 hours) and I am very pleased with this stuff. It looks fantastic, feels great on your feet, and is pretty durable. I have posted some pics below as well as one before and after pic.
