Hey guys/gals,
I just purchased a 2008 Ski Nautique 206 with factory tower but it came with the fixed stainless steel plate mounted on the transom to block out the tunnel behind the prop to give the rear end the lift it needs to deliver the best slalom wake possible.
My question is has anyone been in my position and sourced the parts for the hydrogate option - shifter, cable, components that mount on the transom, etc. - and added this to their 196 or 206? My guess is both installs would be the same.
I believe earlier boats are a problem as the lip / fixed plate was built into the hull with a fiberglass lip in the rear.
I am anxious to hear if anyone has done this and if they have any documentation on the process, etc.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Dave
