    G23 Heater Hose Replacement

Last year I noticed the heater hose in the rear of our G23 was a little short and could barely reach a person at the back of the boat.

I was just wondering if anyone knows how you could get access to replace this hose with a longer one?

    Thanks

Try getting some 'NEW' RV sewer hose in that diameter. Wally world sells it in a kit/box that has plastic connectors. It might be a tight fit, but it will work - and be fairly inexpensive. The sewer hose is actually better imo than the stock hose.

do you have a heater hose in the back or are you referring to one behind the driver? It would be nice to have one in the rear , additional one would be nice also, when an passenger has one stuck up their shirt on a cold day they are a little sensitive when ask to share .

I am talking just the one in the back behind the driver. I would assume it was supposed to reach all occupants of the rear of the boat, however it seems short.

I will ask the dealer if they can put a new longer hose in. I want to stay away from adding too it, because it has to fit back through the plastic ring and I would get annoyed trying to fish it back if it were any thicker.

The easy way to access the heater box is from the bow. If you remove the seat back there is a access hole and the heater is right there. Not sure if you knew that or not. You could look and see if its wraped around something and thats why its so short..

I was not aware of that, I will give that a try first and check. That is a good point.

            Thank You very much!
