Hi all - I really like the SeaDek transom saver that some of the G's have on them and was wondering if anyone has seen one on a 230. People are all the time whacking my transom with their boards, so I'd like to add some protection. Thanks in advance.

Axeman - you're 2 for 2 in saving my butt!!! Always one step ahead of me - nice! Please share your pics once its installed. I forwarded your Rev10 install pics to my stereo guy....he is ordering the parts now (my boat goes in the first week of May for Wetsounds). Is Buxton installing your SeaDek for you? Is this a custom kit or does SeaDek already offer it?
Thanks man

Buxton is doing it. I believe its the same parts as the Gs. The only difference is that the transom on the 230 has a lip right where it meets the swim deck so they'll need to install it a little higher or trim the bottom pieces. I'll get pics as soon as I get the boat back this weekend.2016 Super Air Nautique 230 (sold)

I went a different direction I didn't want to glue anything on . I found this on the Malibu forum years ago looked simple enough so I had my wife make one for the 210. Its made out of 1/2'' carpet padding covered in vinyl. It straps on the handles on the transom with parachute clips . We made it extra big for full protection 560 hours no dings yet.

Yea she has always been a sewer . Since we moved here in GA. she works part time at Cover Girl they make boat covers and interiors. I do most of the wood work for them now . We recently bought a commercial machine and I built her a full sewing table in the basement . The black material on the table is our latest project. I have been thinking for years how nice it would be to have a cover that slips over the nose and extends up the bimini with windows . So if caught in a sudden rain storm the boat could be driven and the driver not get pelted with rain coming in between the windshield and bimini.

Cool stuff Hunter! I remember a thread on Wake World a few years back where some guys in the Pacific NW did something similar so that they could ride in the rain. They had good results from what I remember.Shawn
