Well we bought an 08 220 with low hours and looked really clean at the dealer but after the first time on the lake and doing a wipe down I noticed some questionable places in the gel coat. Looks like it had something repaired on the sides and on the transom. Either that or the factory gel work is not perfect. Understand I'm in the collision repair business so I'm really looking at it. I know that gel coat is not as perfect as paint work but should be consistent. Also see what we call DA marks in a spot or two when looking at it real close. My question is.... Is there a way to track a repair? I know for vas they have carfax. Works off of insurance claims.
