I pulled the small shelve out from in behind the gunnel. I removed the existing carpet And removed the front vertical shelf support.

I made cardboard templates to see where I wanted the holes drilled. I then drilled 2 5/8" holes and wrapped carpet around the shelves. Cupholders are deep ones from nautiqueparts.com

Awesome one more question, what is that speaker wire covering you have in the pic of the tower fold joint? Are all the wires in the tower covered in that or just the section that leaves the tower? Did you drill in the footing of the tower for the speaker wire to exit?

I really like everything you have done to your boat

That is this stuff right here.

        http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Braide...439c93&vxp=mtr

I have that on the 2 front tower legs (where they bend forward) and also coming out of the tower up top into the Rev10s. I finished those off with rubber grommets. This was quite the pain in the butt, but I am super happy with how clean it turned out.

Since I did not install the tower (the previous owner had 3 months before I bought the boat) I needed to get the 12gauge speaker wires down the tower leg and through the top gelcoat of the boat. I ended up drilled up through the fiberglass and tower footing.

If I would have installed the tower I would have drilled a 1" hole in the centre tower footings before installing the tower and then drilled a 1/2" hole from the top down into the gelcoat to accomodate for the speaker/LED wires.

hope this helps. I dont mind answering questions or providing photos

Awesome! On eBay they had black, red, and black/red on that wire covering. Decisions decisions. They had it listed in metric not standard diameters. I'm kinda leaning toward red/black or all black.

How does the installation of the water temp/depth gauge work? Did you have to drill a hole for a water sensor?

For the cupholders on the shelf, is it difficult to get bottles in and out of the two side cupholders? With the way that compartment is shaped I am wondering if I am better off going with two cupholders towards the middle where the compartment opening is the largest. If your setup is working well then maybe I will go with 3 like you did.

Yes I had to drill 2 small holes for the mounting screws for the depth finder. It was simple. I believe you can buy thru hull glue on transducers though

The cupholders work great for holding beer cans or pop cans I mean. They can fit a Gatorade or water bottle too. I am happy with the 3 on each side. I think it looks pretty factory

Is the depth finder and water sensor the white thing on the transom next to the starboard pitot tube? If so looks easy enough. My current Hummingbird depth finder is still working but I would like to upgrade to the better looking Faria one with the temp sensor at some point once I get a few more things checked off my punch list.

Thanks for the cupholder info, that definitely looks factory and is a very nice addition. I will be copying your design except I think I will use stainless cupholders to match the ones I used for the four factory plastic ones I replaced.

Your boat is amazing, be proud of that thing!

The black thing is the transducer and the White attachment is the water temp sensor. The black transducer was installed over the spot where the starboard speedo sensor was . I removed that after adding Perfect Pass.

I wanted Stainless as well but $2.50 x 6 for new ones was cheaper then $14 x 10. I will probably upgrade to stainless someday!

how did you space them out evenly like that? I'm trying to do this mod now and the seat bottoms prevent the holders from being evenly spaced. Can u take a pic with the cushions out?
