More details - any up close pics to share?

did you use 5200 or 4200 as a sealant?

My bet is that the physical install was straight forward but running the wires is where the effort is?
          Thanks!

          Dave

The majority of the install time was measuring, remeasuring, and gathering the cajoñes to drill holes in my transom! All total, the actually drilling and running wires took maybe an hour.

I used black 4200 sealant around the holes. Ran the wires to an unused switch on my dash panel (shower). While I was running wires, I replaced the courtesy lights with blue LEDs and added an LED strip inside the vents on either side of the boat. You can "kinda" see them in the pics. It looks even better at night!

I'll take some closeup pics tomorrow. Thanks for the compliments!

Did I miss it, how much did the lights cost?

                Thanks! Looks awesome!

Looks awesome! I definitely missed the vent LEDs the first time I looked at the pic.

Is it just 1 hole per light? How large of a hole is it?

Those look sick!! I just put 2 of those on my boat too. I haven't got out at night yet with them. Mainly cause it's still almost at freezing temps at night lol

I like the engine vents too! I want to get those done & a light on my sub!

4 holes per light. 1 at 1/2" for the wire and 3 others for the mounting screws about 3/16" if I Remeber. Here's a picture of mine mounted

Correct, 4 holes per light. I caught a good deal on eBay and got mine for $175 each.

                            $175 was a smokin deal.

Yeah, I jumped on the $175. The cheapest I've seen since then is $225.

My advice for those considering this install? Print LOTS of the install template (http://www.lumiteclighting.com/sites...sb3-inst_0.pdf) and MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE!

I'm considering two more. Overkill yes, but I REALLY like 'em!
