WakeJak: Compatible with Flight Tower on 2008 SV-211?

Anyone have a wakejak mounted onto a 2008 or older Nautique with Flight Tower?

I have a 2008 Air Nautique SV211. The tow ball atop the tower is "too low" (too short) according to the wakejak instructions. And the ball fixture is welded on, so there's a curved base and I can't seem to get the wakejak to mount level because of it. I've tried all 5 hole mounts. In the best position of the 5, the boom points maybe 5 degrees upward from the mount out to the end of the boom, and that's going to (I think) cause the end of the boom to be prominent in any vids/pix instead of being near the bottom of the screen.

WakeJak's website says the wakejak fits nautiques with flight control towers 2009 and newer. They do offer full refunds so that's cool.

Any other products out there you'd recommend for a camera mount that tracks the boarder?

hi Magilla! i have tried wakejak. yes, they will return and the guy is really nice. the thing I didn't like about it most was the long guide that hung on to the rope. it was really annoying and i had to move it everytime i tried to go in or out of my lift. i think in if you don't put on a lift with a canopy it's fine. it was my only complaint. i like the concept.

i have repeatedly gone back to wake video.com. Have pretty much bought everything they have designed and feel that they too are easy to work with. they have a a few options. i had a 211 at one point and i know it had a wake video camera tracker and it worked. they have a few options. i'm a big fan of them. the tracking is smooth. the arm is much shorter and it doesn't get in the way. The video is smooth and follows the rider so you can zoom in.
