    SEADEK on Older Nautiques

    Hi,

Im new here i just recently purchased my first boat, 1997 Sport Nautique. I love it.

I see alot of great stuff coming from SEADEK. has anyone ripped out there carpet in an older Nautique and replaced with SeaDEK?

I think this would set it off just perfect. and make it a bit cooler, temp wise aswell.

I havent looked under the carpet to see whats under neath as this idea just came to me and im in another country on rotation work(oil field)

    Any advise much appreciated

    Cheers

I'm pretty sure you can do it and yes, that stuff is very cool. You can even get it customized (see Jeff's PlanetNautique/Whitelake G23)

There is to much prep work under the floor to make it happen and the carpet runs up the hull sides. I am going to do patterns for the gunnell steps in that style boat. Sport/Ski/Snob.

Those will be cool. I should be interested in a set when you do them, if i haven't found the 200V I must buy before then.

My dad wants to put some teak colored steps on his 98 Snob to tie in the platform. The black ones are just fine so I don't know if we will end up doing it this season.

I also have a 97 sport. I would be interested in those as well when you get them done.
I used some precut seadeck to cover up some gouges that the POs left in the gunwhales.
