I'm a recovering Sea Ray owner and am a proud owner of a 2006 Super Air 220. I'm sure this question is very easy, but I'm a total noob on these boats and am slowly learning the lingo. I am getting a Bimini from TowerBiminis.com and they asked if my tower is the "Flight Control 1" (FCT1). How do I know? It's the factory tower - I know that. Here is a pic. Thanks for any feedback.

the emblem casting up near the board racks doesn't look familiar to me (but I wouldn't have the first clue; had spinners come out by then?) you could send the pic to John at Tower Biminis I bet he'll know for sure. You could also look through the brochure pictures at CorrectCraftFan.com (see resources section) and see if it matches up with what's shown in the brochure archives.)
Didn't see Hunter's post -- I bet he's right.2010 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition

Yes Hunter is correct that is an FCT1. The emblem that HS mentioned is an old Super Air logo I think.Shawn

Just a question...and I'm no tower expert...but was the First Flight Control Tower called FCT and the next one to come out was FCT1 ? Because I had a 2000 Super Air and that is not the "first" FCT...but one that came later, debuting on the 220 I think..... Just curious....

I am not positive on all of this so please correct me if I am wrong but I believe this to all be correct.
The original tower that came out in 98 and was called the Flight Control Tower. It looked like this:
They revised this tower in 2000 but still called it the FCT. This is the tower that the NDT is based off of. This tower was used on 210's from 2000-2005 although the 2004 edition had rounded lower legs like the one used on 211s.
2004:
In 2006 they revised the FCT again and this is the tower that would eventually be dubbed the FCT1.
In 2007 they began offering the Titan tower option along with the FCT1 and this is when they added the # designations. The Titan Tower was known as the FCT2.
The first 2 point tower that was offered in 2009(I think?) was called the FCT 3 and I believe this was made by Roswell?
They revised the 2 point tower again in 2012(not sure on this?) and I think this is now called the FCT 4?

thanks shawn. i was just working on putting something like this together. correctcraft definitely screwed their naming process up. maybe somebody can jump in and add the sizes of tubing for each of these towers. i believe the original FCT and variants from 1998-2005 all had 1 7/8" tubing.

David, I don't know the towers on the non Super Air boats as well but that looks the same as the second generation revised tower they used on 210s from 2000-05(except 04) and the current New Dimension Tower. Maybe CC still used this tower on the narrower direct drives after 2005?
Jbach, I think you are correct that everything was 1 7/8s from 98-2005. I know my 99 is 1 7/8s at least and pretty sure the next generation was the same. They got bigger after that but I don't know the sizes.Shawn
