    Seat cushion attachment

I have to say the heavy duty velcro tabs on the seat bases and the seat bottoms are only good for about 3 times.
Subsequently, the seat cushion, particularly the cooler cushion on the port side of SAN, doesn't stay put and I'm finding that the cushion is sliding towards the side and starting to cover up the cup holders.

Other than replacing the velcro tabs, which I have extra, I was wondering if there was some other means would be better suited to keep the cushion in place?

    Ideas?

You could put a hinge on it like the current 210's are. The only problem is the current cushions have a strip of metal in them for the screw to bite on, if you screwed into the cushion bottom you would want to use no more than a 1" screw and when opening it not to pull to hard so you don't pull out the screws.

I don't like the hinge idea because the cushion can't be removed. I like being able to remove the cushion to avoid stepping on it. It's easier to replace the carpeting on the cooler top than the seat cushion.

I have the same frustration. The velcro seems to be one sided as opposed to hook and loop. It's basically hook and hook.

Chek w/ ur dealer about the "blocks" they used to attach to the bottom of the base. Used to screw in but u could probably use a very strong adhesive for all the abuse they take. Fit them just to the inside of the base rim.

Blocks are a good idea, you could also get a strap to attach to the under side of the cushion w/ a snap on the other end to attach to the side of the base, blocks would be the most simple way to go though.
