    Need Help with burn spot

I just had new exhaust manifold and riser gaskets put on my 96 sport nautique. I'm pretty sure they were the original gaskets since my mechanic said he had to take a tourch and cut the heads off of most of the bolts to remove the manifolds. He said he laid a rug down but now I notice about 5 small burn spots in my carpet on both sides of the motor. They are about the size of a bb. Is there anyways to fix this with out replacing all of the carpet.

You might check with your local used car lot or body shop. Sometimes they use Interior Repair people that can take fuzz form another section and glue it it the burns. Its never perfect but might be better than what you got.
