Upgrading Sound System in 03 SANTE

So after 17 days of mind-numbing ideas/purchases/installations/surprises involved in my sound system updgrade, I have decided to seek out advice on the forum. I purchased the 03 SANTE Python last June with an aftermarket set of 6 5.25" tower cans and 2 12" subs in a sealed down-firing box. This year I decided to upgrade everything and started with a wetsounds WS420. I decided to scrap the 5.25" towers and found out the subs were rusted up. Per advice from my local audio shop, I ordered 10 6.5" Memphis marine speakers and 2 12" Memphis marine subs. I planned to use two 4 channel amps I had for the speakers (in-boat rears sharing a channel like stock) and a mono sub amp. Installed a third battery connected to the main batter/switch. Once I received the speakers and started talking about install, I was informed by the owner that the DVC 4 ohm subs had to run at 4 ohms or 1 ohms and my 450w mono amp would overheat at 1 ohm and severely underwhelm at 4 ohm. Therefore the amp situation has been reopened and went from an affordable use of existing equipment to a significant additional expense. Either way, if I'm going to do it I want to do it right! I was thinking a JL MHD900/5 for the subs and towers and a JL M600/6 for the interiors. One area I am confused on is running RCA's from the 'boat' channel in the WS420 to a 6 channel amp?? Also, am I totally overdoing it with the amps? The memphis are rated at 50/100w so I am afraid the towers may blow if I throw 100w RMS a piece at them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm assuming there are other Nautiques running 6 boats, 4 towers, and possibly 2 12's??

Tower speakers that can't handle 100 watts rms are not worth installing because there is no way you will ever be able to hear them at riding distance.

I thought you said the subs were trash. Why the concern then about ohms requirements for them. That said, they can probably be run in parallel at 2 ohms. I don't mean to offend, but do you know much about installing audio? If you are new at this and set on doing it yourself, go to bcae1.com and read everything.

I can't speak to your choice in speakers as I am not familiar with the brand. The only tower speakers I know of that can be heard at riding distance are made by wet sounds, nvs, Samson, bullet, or kicker, and all require more than 100 watts rms.
