Houston, TX Service

Does anyone recommend anyone for service in the Houston area. I live south of town in Pearland. I know Dockside Marine on Lake Conroe is our dealer for this area. I've been trying for two days to get someone to call me back with a price to replace the steering cable in my 2002 Air. I would rather them do the work because they should know the boat, but if they won't call me back that's not going to happen. It would also be nice to find someone on my side of town to do service periodically. There are plenty of places toward Kemah and Galveston, but they all seem to be into fishing and pleasure boats used in salt water. Sure they can do work, but I want quality work.

Also, the previous dealer on the south side isn't official anymore but they could do it. Much closer to you.

I thought about the previous dealer, but I haven't been able to find a number for them. I think they are or were a Sanger dealer. That would be fine. I loved it when that was the Nautique dealer. It was only 10 minutes from the house.

Houston Watersports Complex HWC off BW8 closed the doors a couple of weeks ago. Give Palmer Power a call. I have not had any work done there but friends buy PCM parts there. Off 610 South. 713-644-6410. Palmer quoted a price on redoing my tranny years ago but I had HWC do it since they were closer.

3 0r 4 boats ago, I had a steering cable replaced on my old centurion direct drive and Palmer Power did the replacement. They did a great job and they are on your side of town. I have also used a guy named Chris. I cant think of his last name, but he does mobile repair. He came to my storage shed to do the repairs. He does most of the work for the Lakes of Katy guys. I will see if I can find his contact number and last name for you... He used to work at Waterski boats Houston when they were open...
