additional jabsco pump with linc system

Hi,

i have a 2010 230. At the moment i have the overflow ballast system, with 750lb bags in the lockers on top of tanks (replacing tanks and sacs with the 1100lb sacs this week sometime) and a 650lb bag under the seats at the front. we run a 1000lb nose cone on top of this using a tsunami pump. i am going to plumb the nose cone into the boat and was thinking overflowing from the V sac into the nose cone may be a little slow. has anyone had any experience adding an additional jabsco pump with the linc system? would it be possible to run 2 pumps off the same wiring and same intake hose? meaning when you hit the belly tank switch, both will fire up and fill the belly and nose at the same time? i want to do away with manual pumps all together. we bought 1100lb of lead which fits nicely in the esky compartment and opposite and takes up bugger all room. would be nice to just hit switches and ride. with no sacs in the middle of the boat. we would go more lead if it werent for the tow weight issue. I installed a 4th pump to my system however I never thought about adding it to the linc system. The 4th pump is used to fill up the nose bags as I got tired of waiting for the belly to fill then overflowing to the nose. Not sure why your idea would not work.

you can do a third option...plumb in a t-valve to your additional sacs that you switch when the factory tanks are full. No extra pump to pay for or wire.... But you do have to do them in sequence vs simultaneously as you described. I has my G23 plumbed like that with 1100s in the trunks.

the way we deal with the extra waiting time is we start surfing as soon as we flip the valves when the stock tanks are full... And the piggy back 1100s continue to fill while we surf.. 12 mins or so.

now, back to your original question.... I can say with near certainly the OEM wiring will not support 2 pumps, would get hot or pop fuses.. What you could do, if you wanted to go that route is use your OEM pump wiring as a remote turn on for a relay and then you def could run 2 pumps off a single relay on a 8-12ga dedicated run off the batteries.

there are unused switch ports in the Link.. Perhaps underwater lights, overhead lights, heater etc.... Check with your dealer as they would have to flash your link to make those avail... For example, if your boat did not ce with underwater lights, that option would not be avail till your dealer flash the Link and made it avail.

I live in Australia so the postage would not be worth it, though I had planned to keep the sacs to put back in for sale along with the tanks and transfer the 1100,s to a g23 when it's time to upgrade.
