    06 SANTE factory ballast issues.

    Hello all,
Ive pulled the boat out from winter storage and dropped her in the water the other day to see how she runs. Its an 06 SANTE. The port and belly pumps do not seem to be filling the tanks. We've got 3 jabsco's. When you turn the pumps on they seem to be pumping, or at least making noise. However the tanks are not filling. The belly pump was new last year, it even has the green impeller on it. Im going to order a new impeller for the port pump and see if that works. I've sucked the lines out with a shop vac, any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Is there a good way of testing them without pulling it out to the lake? And also i forget, when you drain the tanks do the pumps also drain them? The pumps didnt seem to make any noise when you went to drain. Again any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if it matters but its a 220

Pull the impellers out of the pumps and see if the plastic housing is stripped out. It will likely be slightly melted as well if it stripped out. Yes, the pumps drain the tanks.

      Stupid question but ...

Did you make sure the valve is in the on position? I know I forgot that a few times after my boat was winterized.

Also did you try moving a little slow while pumping? Sometimes mine wouldn't prime until I got moving a tiny bit

Should be under center engine area closest to seat I think. Not real sure . Check your owners manual

I'm having a similar issue on my 07 with the same Jabsco pumps, but the "fixes" discussed above aren't solving it. This is for my center bag (bag plumbed-in in ski locker area, no hard tank). It has a new green impeller and I have verified that it's spinning in BOTH directions. It's for sure not priming. The valve is open and you can blow air out and hear it bubble under the boat if you take the hose off the inlet-side of the pump. Any recommendations on getting this thing to work are MUCH appreciated.
