Anyone done this yet? Fairly inexpensive mod.. wondering if it makes any difference in noise/exhaust. Had them on my Malibu and liked them.

FYI - I wanted a fresh air exhaust for my G23 but Buxton has tried 4 different mounts on another G23 and cannot get the thing to stay on. There is just to much force back there to keep it on. The shorter the better would be my guess.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

Anyone had any results from turn down tips or the like?
My daughter was light headed after surfing the port side for about 10 minutes. We put her in the bow and headed in. She is the only family member who surfs regular foot and this was the first she has complained about it. She has mentioned the 'smell' in the past(yes, I realize that CO has no smell).
Spoke with Buxton Marine regarding their success(lack their of) with FAE on the G23. They even went so far as to use the FAE tube and fab their own mount brackets. All results were the same. The mount failed under stress during turns and at speeds above surf speeds.
Has anyone had any success with turn down tips or any other FAE like system?
Thanks.2013 SAN G23 450

Thanks.
I surfed quite a bit this weekend and noticed pretty much no exhaust.. maybe I'm lucky. Still wouldn't mind turn-downs just for the slightly better noise level.

FAE is working on a solution and will e-mail me when they have one. I think the more people that contact them the more they will work on it.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop
