I figure that , too much money into the NNS and possible safety issues , just look at all the stickers Nautique places on their boats. thanks, Jeff, for the update.

All rumor, but I believe it to be true.

the 2nd benefit from a redesigned exhaust will be the noise reduction... the G's are loud2019 G23 450

I can't really say what I did or did not see when I was in Orlando. What I can say is that Nautique employees and designers read these forums and take what we say to heart. Regardless of the cost of a product (in this case a G series boat), it takes dozens of owners hundreds if not thousands of real world use hours to fine tune an idea. The fine tuning and convergence of experiences are collected here (thank you Jeff) and Nautique recognizes this and works on bettering their already amazing product. This is no different. There is no reason to worry, the situation is well in hand. I wouldn't expect that the exhaust inhalation over the next month or so will leave any of us worse for wearEric, Phoenix AZ

dont get me wrong.... the 450 idling into the marina sounds like a tuned turbocharged V8 supercar....the sound of the V8 sounds awesome, I love it. start it at the docks and EVERYONE within earshot stares.
But I would estimate the G is nearly 2x louder than my 6.0L 247... mainly because the exhaust port is above the waterline even at idle when no ballast. with the 247 the exhaust ports were underwater at idle even without ballast.
I surf my boat 3-4hrs every weekend at 3300-3800rpm.... if you use your boat like that... you"ll want it quieter.
