    nautique 200 DD back rest

guys TO REMOVE UPRIGHT BACK REST do you have to remove the rear floor section first.Tried to pull out the backrest (attached by hooks to transom i believe) with floor still in but seems to be sticking somewhere..thanks

There is velco at the bottom, which is why there are two straps there... for pulling off the velcro. Once you release the bottom from the velcro, there are four hooks holding the top of the backrest against the transom. You just need to push the back pad upwards. It is a tight fit, but it will release.

      thanks

The backrest comes off easily with the floor panel removed. With the floor panel fitted it pushes against the bottom of the seat rest and i find it impossible to push up the seat rest prob due to the angle of the seat rest with flor panel still in situ. Blue ski did you remove yours with floor panel still fitted?

Just pull up on the two straps. Mine comes up easy. Floor installed, rear seat bottom removed.

The first time I did it, I happened to have the floor panel out. Most recently I had the floor panel in.
