Need advice on pricing of new 230 team edition

Planet Nautique, I am in the market for a new 230 and am not sure what is a fair price to pay for one. I have never owned a Nautique, but have been impressed with the ones I have ridden on in the past. I have one picked out, but we have not set a price, I was hoping to get some feedback from an objective group rather than the dealer's personal opinion.

Quick run down of the boat:
    343 Ex PCM
    Team edition
    Z5 bimini top
    Polk boat and tower speakers
    Boatmate trailer
    Removable bench seat

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to becoming a part of the Nautique family.

I looked at a 2012 at the end part of last season that had comparable options except it had the pcm 409. Dealer was asking 89k for it and found out afterward that he let it go for 87.9k. Alot of things to also consider would be paint options, vinyl options, and trailer options. Not a professional, but personally, I would shy away from the 343 motor in a 230. Once you load that boat down with ballast and people you would be working that motor overtime. For those that say otherwise, I will also say consider the resale. I shopped Nautiques for a while before purchasing mine and you don't see many 230's with the smaller engine. There is a reason for it. Why not get a build price for what you want in a boat if you are buying new?

Come to TX and see how many you see with the 343.....Buxton doesn't get any of theirs with the 409 unless someone orders it....call Phil there and ask his opinion....they sell a "few" boats too....I sold both of my 230s with the 343 within a week, no problem....We ran over stock ballast a bit and had no problems as well....

Here in Houston they rarely stock a 230 with the 409 as well. It's hard to find a used one around here with the 409.

My last boat had a zr6 and my new one has 343. 343 gets way better fuel economy and has plenty of power. Look if you want the best deal call Phil at Buxton. He also deals with a used dealer up in your area. You can check the Buxton web page for comparable pricing. Oh yeah if your financing they can probably get you the best deal. These guys are right about them ordering all 230 with the 343.

Forgot to mention that Buxton who orders all floor boats with 343. I think they sell more nautiques than any other dealer in the country.

Forgot something else!!! Insurance was cheaper on our 08 220 with the 343 than our 03 226 with the zr6. I believe that it's was the fact insurance company's don't really don't understand more horsepower doesn't mean a ski boat is going to be faster.
