Compatable Trailer for 2001 Air 210?

    I recently purchased a 2001 Air Nautique 210...w/out a trailer.

I've been looking around, and was surprised w/ how hard it has been to find a trailer. I've heard mixed comments that other boat trailers would work w/ it.

I live on the water, so won't trailer it everyday (but like having a trailer so I can pull it out when doing a prop change or something like that) -- so was looking for something very basic.

Does anybody know if a 2005 Mastercraft X9 (21ft single axle) or other model trailer would work. Also -- found a trailer for a 2008 210 (it's a dual axle) -- but didn't know if it would work, since I think the hull is wider?

    Thanks,
    Ben

So do you have a direct drive air nautique (engine in the center) or a super air nautique (v-drive, engine in the rear)? This will make a big difference in the trailer fit as the axle location is relative to where the engine block is.

Assuming that you have a v-drive 210 and not a direct drive air, the 2008 trailer would probably work, but it would be a bit long and a bit wide. I have used a trailer for a 2010 210 on my 2000 SAN for 2 years now, but it was not ideal. I ended up buying the first trailer I found in my area that was designed for my boat and now have a 2010 SAN trailer to sell.

Sorry, I realize I should have been more specific. I have a V drive style 210.

Thanks for the feedback. I was actually able to borrow a neighbors trailer for a 99 v-drive supersport. It seemed to fit pretty well so now I am passively looking (still would like to get a trailer even when the boat is in the boathouse...

        Thanks,
        Ben

Hey, I have a 2003 SAN 210 with a white Eagle tandem axle trailer I might be willing to sell after the season is over/end of the year if your not in a big hurry to pick one up.
