Remove DNR sticker & residue ?

I goofed and put the wrong DNR sticker on our boat and didn't cut off the bottom couple of inches. Does anyone know the best way to get these things and their residue off without damaging the gelcoat? I have replacements coming so don't care if I destroy the sticker.

Hair dryer for the sticker and Goof Off for the glue.

i used tar and bug remover to remove adhesive. i would assume any kind of solvent would work.

Heat and goo gone. Heat helps with keeping the adhesive on the decal. Otherwise cleaning can be more difficult. I doubt a newly a applied sticker is going to give you much trouble. You might try pulling the corner and see how it goes.
