    200v vs sv211 vs 210 vs?

I'm always tire kicking for a new(er) boat and finally getting more serious. I'm pretty serious (I think) about a 200v but am a little worried about the wakeboard wake. All the review (ok, most) on the boat are great... but most of them are on the slalom wake. I like to slalom, but 75% of the time will be either wakeboarding or surfing. I know it won't be a 210, but on a scale of 1-10, how will it compare to a 210 with factory ballast? I know I could slam it and add ballast to make it better, but them I'm worried I'll lose my already limited storage.

I have a family of 4 and will occasionally have a few more people in the boat. I know it may get tight with more than 4 people in the boat, but it's bound to have tons more room than my 81 ski and I manage with that. I can get a new (older yr model) 200v for what I can get a used 210 or 211 for. That's why I'm considering that vs a new 210.

I've owned 2 out of the 3 you've listed. If skiing is important I'd check out the 200, otherwise if WB and surf is the primary use and is important go with the 210.

I own a 210 my wife likes to ski. The 210 will put out a decent recreational ski wake at 30mph plus but not as good as a 200V. Where it has the advantage is in wakeboarding , surfing and people capacity. As always with these kind of threads I recommend test driving/riding all of them . I was going to buy a MC X15 until I drove the 210.

With the nice slalom wake on the 200v, you might find yourself skiing a bit more than you have. The old '81 Nautiques had brutal wakes that were just waiting for someone to invent wakeboards. Kudos to skiing with it.

I have a 2012 200V. I have 2 friends with SAN210s. I would not ski behind those boats...but yes, you could ride a ski behind them. The difference in the wakeboard wake...the 210 is much steeper, where the 200V has more ramp. When I wakeboard, usually fill a couple fat sacs in the back compartments and one up front, makes a nice wake. Still not as big as those 210s, and especially not as steep. As far as room, the 210s are obivously bigger, but I have the Z5 bimini, and you can put a ton of junk on those. And with fat sacs I make a decent surf wake. Really you need to test drive both.

Haha! We've had this boat 27 years and always thought the ski wake wasn't bad at 30+! A family member of mine has a 94 ski and its obviously better... But it sucks for wakeboarding!

2011 200V, has an awesome slalom wake, especially 30mph+ I love it

we wakeboard occasionally and put 400lb in each locker and 400 in the nose on top of factory and the wakeboard wake isnt bad. Can easily clear wake to wake with good air at 75ft.

for surfing 400 in the back and 400 in the nose with a few ppl on top of factory make for a really smooth wake with a lot of push! both sides are really good. obviously not huge but a decent pocket and a lot of fun for getting a bit of pop and throwing down 360s.. not as big as a 210 but this boat can really do everything well

200v is perfect sized boat for 4 to 6 ppl. Echo all that others said regarding ski / wake / surfing. I'll add easier to store (can get in on bay of a two car garage and under an 8 foot door with tower and z5).
                Peace..
