I will actually be vacationing there during that time period! I didn't know there was a pro stop there. Will all the pro riders be there? It would be really cool for me to be able to meet Bob Soven, Rusty, and Sean Murray. I might have to talk the wife into going there!
You should totally stop by! I am driving down from Virginia for the day. I am really looking forward to it. I have been to plenty of watersports events, including the Masters and many others, but have never been to a Pro Wakeboard Tour stop. Should be a great time.

Jeff will you have the PN G23 there? We should figure out a way to meet some other PN members, we'll be out there and I know several other members who will be too...
Any ideas?

Wasn't planning to take it down, but maybe I could if there is interest.

Jeff, We ended up with a pair of tickets to the Tour, but on the fence if we are going to go or not... Did you ever decide if you were taking the G23....
That's not far from my place on the lake. I've never been to one of these. Is there any way to watch from your boat or do they block the whole thing off from the water? If possible, I may swing up with the kids in the G25 Saturday afternoon.
That would be really cool if they would let you do that... I went to a tour stop back in like 1999 or so, and I think it was on a small lake between G'boro and Winston Salem so it was only the tour boats out there. There are a few folks from my way taking boats up to ride afterwards so it may be an area to set on the boats and check it out... It's been a long time since I went to an event...
If it is possible to watch from the boat, I will take it. I wish I knew how to find out if this is possible.

Happy to open my home Sat afternoon if people need bathrooms etc. though there are a few marina's/restaurants on the lake not far from there as well. My place is about a 10 min boat ride from there (just north of the Hager's creek boat ramp)

Just spoke to Chris Bischoff, the Competition Director at World Sports & Marketing. He said they will have an area for boats to tie up and watch the competition from the water. Closest ramp near there is Stumpy Creek. Less than a 5 min boat ride. There is a bridge to go under that is pretty low given how high the water is. May need to lower towers to get under - not sure.

jrz1, are they going to be riding in the section of lake between cornelius rd and perth? it looks like there's a small ramp to drop in right below preston rd off cornelius ...
Awesome. If Bisch says we're good, than that's good enough for me!
