1997 Ski Nautique closed bow vs. ski nautique open bow

Hi, I am looking at possibly buying a 1997 Ski nautique open bow. I have never skied behind an open bow, have behind the closed bow many times. Wondering what the differences in the wake are between the open and closed bow models? Thanks

I could never tell the difference............34mph or 36mph.
