Heading to Nautique Factory, any questions you want asked re: G series?

That was taken on Monday, mine was in the same stage. Yesterday got engine and top cap put on (by 2 pm). Today tower and upholstery I believe. Then water test. They had a adhesive gun fail so I believe it pushed things back a bit. If she isn't off the line today, then most likely tomorrow. Mine is scheduled to come off tomorrow I believe

Wow I had no idea they waited that long to cap them and put decals on!

Also the main stripe on mine is the gun metal grey metallic do they do that towards the end? Maybe someone else wanted a yellow nose too!

Actually it is only three days from being done. They are unbelievably efficient. Takes 60 mins or less at each station. Each hull is planned down to the minute regarding how long each step
Should take. I will look through my pics again and see if I see another w a yellow bow. Their were close to 40-50 boats on the line, I hope I didn't miss urs. Here is a video of the last stage, putting decals and sea deck on, getting ready to shrink wrap and ship

The main stripe is on the top cap if I remember correctly, that goes on after the engine, electrical harnesses, running gear, etc go in the hull. THe electrical is also run through the top cap (while it is upside down on the dolly). It is actually a very efficient process, the guy who set it up has years of experience running GMs production lines (if I can recall correctly). I think they are back within 12 hours of being on schedule, for what its worth.

Awesome pics!! I'm surprised to see a closed bow 200 on the line - very coo and rare! Now you must be excited beyond belief for delivery day!

More hulls gelled and waiting for progression down the line. The black and green glassed fiberglass are actually molds which are cleaned and sanded down to a 11000 grit prior to being re-used for the next boat. Those molds look better than the majority of the gel coats on our boats. There are also pictures of the apparatus they use to infuse resin for other parts of the boats, the sundeck, engine hatches, seat bottoms (I think) and the swim deck. They use a dense foam and evenly suck resin both through and around the piece.

THey let us take pictures of the entire area, their were some that they asked not to be published (when I mentioned that I would be posting them on PN.com), which are things likely to be released in the next few months. Greg even took the pictures of my gf and I in front of some of the molds, boats, and even in our own boat before the top cap was placed on. We pretty much had great access to the entire production line with the exception of the "skunkworks" area.
