    Cover question

Well Tropical Storm Andrea ended up being pretty benign but I did get a tree limb through my cover (and right into a speaker in the bow). The bow portion of the cover now has a huge tear in it along with a couple rips an inch or two long in various places. Is it worth trying to get the cover fixed or should I just replace it? The boat primarily sits on a lift under a hard roof (wasn't there during the storm unfortunately) but it is a towable cover and I'd like it to stay that way. This is the cover that came with the boat new (only a couple months ago)- is it going to be sufficiently expensive to fix that it's not worth it?

    Thanks for the advice.

If your insurance covers, I'd claim it with the speaker. But I have had tears repaired that lasted for years.

Just have your local cover company or shoe shop repair it... You make a claim and they will probably increase your insurance rates.

I finally had a chance to get all of the nature out of the boat today and now see that the branch also ripped two cushions. It is probably an insurance claim now.
