Ballast tank cable installation

I need to install the cable for the port ballast tank. Where does the cable terminate and is it an easy replacement? I am fairly handy but unfamiliar with this as the boat is new to me. Help!!

On my 2003 SAN, the stock valves were located just to the port side of the small space between the engine and transmission, so that is where the cable terminates. I'd imagine you could fish a new cable through without too much trouble, maybe using a portion of the old cable as a guide (tape new cable to old cable and pull through starting at the helm). Not much room in there, especially if you have hard tanks in the rear. Might want to look into aftermarket solutions such as electric valves or impeller pumps to improve your system.
