Ok so, after reading these here is my plan. Factory starboard tank (My son and I are goofy footed), factory belly tank completely full, and a 400 sac in the rear locker. My oldest son will be the one wakesurfing more than likely and he is 5'9" 150-160#s so I will go 10.5-11mph. We will also have his girlfriend, my younger son, and my wife sit in the starboard corner so that's ~475 pounds in that seat. I will definitely post pics of the wave and give you guys a run through of what I thought about the wave, board, ballast, etc.

I usually run full belly and full surf side + 750 in rear surf side + 550 in the bow. I usually add another 550 on the rear surf side seat when I surf. Only driver in the boat with this and bas tank 2/3-full. I'm just learning, and I think from nyryan's recommendations I need to speed up. Speed is normally 11-11.5 I haven't been able to let go of the rope just yet and I'm riding a Shred Stixx Thresher. I keep thinking the board is too short but we'll see...

Alright, so after surfing all day yesterday I am very pleased with the current sac setup that I have. The wave was fantastic Port and Starboard. I also LOVE the Model X wakesurf from Phase 5. The board is fast, responsive, and easy to ride. I stayed riding the pocket for like 3-4 minutes ropless by my third try. Great board, great wake, will post video later today .

Only complaint is that the boat was leaning so hard that water leaked little by little out of the sac through the overflow hole, we kept having to re-fill a little bit while we we're riding. Not a big deal just think there should be a valve to close off to keep that from happening.

Perry- that's good... That means you got your gangsta lean going.

There are check valves for that... Or... Keep a cork from your next wine bottle till you get around to it during fall/winter layup.

Thats a good idea, might try that next time I go out. My son is really enjoying the surfing right now because he is in a wakeboarding slump for some reason and after just 2 days he has picked up on surfing. I was pretty impressed with it. By the end of the second day he would let himself get all the way out into the curl of the wave and then pump it back in.
