750's and pulling the hard tanks in a 05 210

Well its done! thanks to wakemakers.com they talked me into ordering the 750's instead of the 1100's for the rear lockers. I am excited to pull the hard tanks and getting storage as well as not having to deal with wedge sacks. The fact i live in Oklahoma, its not likely i will have them for this weekend but maybe by next week i can get the pic's up.

This is not my first time using wakemakers.com always been easy to work with. If you guys are like me sitting at work dreaming of the lake here is a freebie post some pics of your installs so i can stare at them.

    Thanks,
    Caleb

They steered you in the right direction with the 750s over the 1100s. The 1100s would fit height-wise but the 750s push in on the dividers as it is and the 1100s are 2" wider I think. I'm still throwing tsunami pumps over the side so I don't have a clean install to show you but you I think you will be very happy with the switch. On top of the benefits you already mentioned it is also much easier to do engine maintenance with the tanks out of the way.

I replaced the hard tanks on my '05 with 750's too. I took pics during the process. This thread should help if you run into any trouble.

MrShelly thank you for the link it all helps. I am not looking forward to the "gross" under the hard tanks but it will be nice to clean it in the future

Are you going to re-use your old fill and drain pumps?

Part 1 done now waiting on the bags .... Question with the stock pumps what procedure should I use to run them? It's obvious I couldn't operate the stock ones right because I went out yesterday and never filled the tanks and I go to pull them last night and they where full of water.

I am assuming that after you fill or empty you have to close the valves otherwise you gain or loose water? I figure probably have to follow the same process with bags. If this is true it makes since that that put those little valve things under the dash
