I am hoping to install it this weekend, so we'll see. It will be an interesting install on the 550 though, because I am not sure where to source the hot water. Unlike most other engines, the 550 uses anti-freeze for the heater connection, so I can't tap into that. I guess I will have to come off of the heat exchanger, but the lines are really small. I'll post an update once I get it installed.

We had one on a mastercraft and it was a life saver riding in December in Arkansas when my brother would ride daily to stay in shape for competition. It brings blue toes back to normal pretty quick. Been time where we would have to steer around ice on Greers Ferry.

Cheers man VERY VERY keen to know how it performs. A buddy put one on his hammer head (closed loop) and to be honest the performance was poor at best. I cant wait for my G to arrive!

Jeff- Where are we at on this update? did you do an install guide with pics? where did you tap in, and mount eveything?

I actually didn't get the hot side hooked up before the boat had to go to the new owner, unfortunately. Finding a hot source on the closed-cooled XS-550 proved difficult. Everywhere I tried to tap (even the heater lines) were anti-freeze! I never got a definite answer from PCM on the best place to tap, so instead of risk possible damage, I decided to let White Lake or the new owner of the boat tap into the hot side.

The cold side is easy enough though.

Where were you going to mount the shower head and controls on your G23? I was thinking of putting on in the back cooler.

Sure it is, but it means you can't tap into it for the hot water line for the shower.
