    NSS surf video on G23

Hey Guys, I have been playing around with my new NSS for a few weeks and I have been loving the diversity of jumping back and forth. I wakeboard about 80% of the time so not the best at surfing. I am goofy footed but have I basically always surfed portside just because most everyone else in my crew does. This is a quick go pro video of me messing around on the Hyperlite Landlock. I have been enjoying the longer surfboard to make up for my lack of skill on a skim or "air" board. When the water is just too rough for wakeboarding and I need my "board fix' the NSS has opened the creative mines of my whole crew. Very happy with my G23 from N3boatworks (n3boatworks.com). I have the Z5 bimini and keep surf boards on the boat at all times now. The night we filmed this we have 4 wakeboards on board and only 3 riders haha........the lake was just to chopped out.

This set up is just stock weight in the G23 with 2 people in the boat and the go pro footage from a guy sitting shotgun. Not the best angle since you can see the whole wave.

I am going to try to embed the video on this thread. if that doesnt work here is the link

I just started messing around with the switching on my G. I always have to drop back really far and pump up the wake and over.

Looks like the NSS creates a bit of "wake spray" on the port side? Reminds me of the spray the 24 MXZ has. Am I hallucinating?

I didn't see a ton of spray and have seen much more spray in the surfgate vids. I think what I see most is the exhaust.

I need to get some video from the back of the boat. The waves on both sides get pretty clean. Exhaust on port side is pretty rough. (Other threads will mention the same issue). A surf pipe of the exhaust will be nice. Sounds like Nautique will have this option taken care of soon. If you're a "die hard" surfing I hear the 230 with NSS is your best choice. I am going to try to tag along with my local deal, N3boatworks, the next time they take someone out on it.

I don't have NSS (yet).. but I keep hearing about exhaust on the port side. We surfed for an hour or two yesterday again.. still haven't noticed any. Maybe I'm lucky - or I'm not sacked out enough?

My port exhaust is sometimes bad and then sometimes not so bad. Not 100% sure why, but usually it isn't terrible or I just switch to the starboard side for a few haha

Yo Indy I have that same board! It was/is great to learn on but there isn't much carving to be done with that board. I think I'm going to be shortening up soon!

Wakeslasher, I do like the Land lock for learning......I have started to ride the Hyperlite Shim (new this year in the hyperlite line up) with one center fin. Have tried the Liquid Force Tommy and Daum boards and like them. Tommy and Daum's boards are lightning fast. I am getting better at Surfing so it is becoming more fun......always nice to progress!
